Ergon Inc. is one of the largest companies in Mississippi, specializing in a multitude of industries- oil & gas, refinement, asphalt, emulsions etc. Ergon came to Mad Genius wanting a refresh in their safety campaign, Target Zero. While it was successful, they felt it had run it’s course. Ergon wanted a safety campaign that felt a little more direct and clear with a personal tone. “Just Think” was my concept that went to the final rounds of decision making, but ultimately the project was shelved and never completed.

The original concept, “Tough Love” was a combination of ideas from the creative team at Mad Genius, and ended up being one of three pitched to the client. This concept played on clear and straightforward messaging speaking directly to employees. “Tough Love” evolved into “Just Think” per client request, but everything else remained the same. Minima but punchy visuals, sometimes humorous, but always serious about safety.
