Arkansas-based internet company, Ritter Communications, came to Mad Genius wanting to roll out a fresh campaign that targeted their “hometown” markets. People have a million things to do in a day that involve using the internet–working from home, keeping the kids entertained, shopping online, etc. Ritter wanted their customers to feel empowered by their internet company, that they can do all that and more! Mad Genius delivered a Seussian-style campaign with custom animated illustrations and jaunty rhyming narration.

While I did not come up with the concept for this campaign, I was heavily involved with the production side of the campaign. On set, I acted as an assistant art director and afterwards, when making the deliverables, I acted as lead designer and illustrator–working very closely with our resident animator. We experimented with several different illustration/animation styles. Originally, I wanted to create something very hand-drawn and colorful, but ultimately we went with a more simplistic style.
