This was one of my first logo projects I got to do at Mad Genius. At first this seemed like a very cut and dry corporate logo project. I tried many variations of the abstract person icon for the “i” associating that with the social services the program supplies, and what seems to be the very expected route. As I got further along I started to explore something more conceptual and associated with the word “lift.” I began sketching butterflies, birds, wings etc. and after a collaborative effort ended at an origami crane.
